Rose is a female Phidippus pius. They are a fun and friendly species that is very calm, with a unique semi transparent "rose gold" coloration. Pius are extremely rare and not easy to find in the hobby, keep this in mind if you have aspirations to pair Rose 🙏🏼. You can see her eyes flash in the video when her cone shaped retinas move. I raised Rose from an egg sac and she is about a year old, but not yet mature. She is currently about the size of a nickel, I expect her to be a very nice size for her species once mature.
